1. Mini Europe in Brussels
" Brussels, being the administrative centre of the European Union, is often referred to as the European capital. A nice way for children to learn about the size of Europe is through the miniature park Mini Europe. In the park, which is over 2.5 hectares in size, the most important buildings of Europe can be admired in miniature size. Science mood! Near Mini Europe you will also find the Atomium. This is a monument depicting the molecular structure of iron, but at a massively bigger scale (it measures 100 meters in height). The Atomium is accessible through escalators and stairs, and from the top you have a wonderful view of Mini Europe and Brussels. If you are in the mood for more science, why not also visiting Brussels’ Planetarium? As its name indicates, this structure depicts our mysterious solar system. Another model, this one depicts our solar system. Combination tickets for both of these attractions are available at Mini Europe. "
