Dishes and… child minders. Make-up, colouring, playing in the gardens: this restaurant is ideal for a good family break.
An excellent place for the family and especially for the children who, after having tasted the sweet or savoury mini-pizza prepared especially for them, will be able to enjoy a large playground.
The Botanical Garden (Jardim Botanico)
A garden, an institute and a museum… The colours and the scents of flora from the five continents, in particular from Latin America, have pride of place. Sprawling over more than 140 hectares, it offers marvellous walks for the family, right in the heart of Sao Paulo.
This amusement park is a genuine paradise for those who seek big thrills. Roller-coasters, 3D experiences, Ferris wheel, merry-go-rounds, simulators, bungee jumping, animals, "canyoning" for thrill-seekers, and a host of other surprises await you.
MUSEUMS & EXHIBITIONS
The Butantan Institute
Created in 1901, this institute was intended to search for vaccines against snakebites. Today, it is one of the most visited places of Sao Paulo, and the family can discover more than 2,000 species of snakes, spiders and scorpions.
Aeronautical and Folk Art Museums
These two museums are located in the same building in Ibirapuera park. The ground floor will charm children with airplane models and the collections recalling the history of the conquest of the sky. The other floors are dedicated to Brazil and its traditions.
ZOOS, AQUARIUMS, PARKS & GARDENS
Inaugurated in 1954, it is an immense leisure park in the south of Sao Paulo. It is the ideal place for family walks and activities. With its playgrounds, lakes, sports grounds and picnic area, it is a good place for a breath of fresh air before you return to the city.
Sao Paulo Zoological Gardens
With more than 3,000 animals representing nearly 400 species, Sao Paulo Zoo is among the ten largest in the world. The animal habitats are specially recreated and visitors move among fauna from the five continents, from tropical birds to big cats.
