Ypres Peace City - Memories of the "Great War"!

Ieper - Ypres as it is known by the British army - was the heart of the Western Front Battlefield throughout World War I. Fighting for the freedom of Europe, the Allied Forces suffered heavy losses around Ieper. The "In Flanders Fields" Museum (several international awards) tells you many horrible war stories. A visit to the Cemeteries and battlefields also gives you a very deep impression of this painful period. Further you can read lots of testimonials in your personal copy of the book "At the going down".
