Shanghai
Shanghai is a breath-taking city. Its gigantic towers of glass and steel, designed by the great names of modern world architecture – and including the most famous, the Oriental Pearl, which towers above the business district – all give Shanghai its futuristic look. Divided by the Hangpu river into Puxi, its left bank, and Pudong, its right bank, it’s also a historical city with influences and traditions which can be seen in People’s Square, or as you walk up the famous Bund, or as you discover the beautiful bird market. Welcome to this exciting city!
