As a family discover the tracks of thousands of animals and their history. This museum has a fascinating display of stuffed animals. From mammals to birds and from reptiles to amphibians, they certainly do look very real. A unique opportunity for children to have a souvenir photo, up close to a polar bear or an orangutan sitting in a tree.

Technorama
Touch, handle, understand…that is what this unique museum in Switzerland offers the entire family. Dedicated to the discovery of science, art and technology, it is completely interactive and a captivating paradise 25 kms from Zurich for all curious young ones. Toy Museum
Tea sets, wooden toys, story books…the collections in this museum are a real wonder for children. Located in one of the oldest streets in the city centre, it shows the history and evolution of toys in Europe over two centuries. The dolls’ clothes are themselves a real journey through fashion while the train engines perfectly symbolise the technical advances in transport. A miniature historical adventure and an outing not to be missed with the children.

Zoos, aquariums, parks and gardens

Zurich Zoo
Three visits in one! Zurich Zoo offers the whole family a chance to discover three “worlds”. After a classical section displaying over 320 species of various animals on five continents, it is then time for the children to enter Zoolino, a place that they will particularly enjoy because it allows direct contact with animals. With hugs and photos, it is a magical place for them. Then finally the time comes to enter the fascinating world of the Masoala tropical forest. An outing not to be missed!

Knies Kinderzoo
Since its opening in 1962, Kinderzoo has become a not-to-be missed meeting place for children and animals. The park is 30 minutes by car from Zurich, and it gives children the opportunity to observe and get close to animals in an original way. Eye to eye with a giraffe from a high terrace, experiencing captivating adventures with seals, going for a ride on the back of an elephant or giving the monkeys their lunch… these are just some of the extraordinary adventures that children will not easily forget.

Conny-Land
The Delphinarium in this amusement park is one of the most modern in Europe. It is a chance for young and old to watch displays of dolphins and sea dogs as well as lots of other animals. This magical experience can be followed by a visit to the parrot circus, a real display of multicoloured wings, or a visit to the dinosaur park. After all these experiences, it will be time for the youngest ones to go to the numerous game areas for even more new experiences.

Kindercity
More than a city, this is a kingdom. Kindercity is a magical place that offers children up to 12 unbelievably enjoyable and original workshops. Young pastry cooks can make chocolate figurines at the start of their adventure, and then go on to become palaeontologists by making dinosaur skeletons or go on to fixing cars. And lots of other experiences await them before they get to enjoy the various fairground attractions and park amusements…an end to an unforgettable day!

Dinosaur Museum
Welcome to Dinosaur world! Young and old will experience a real journey back in time by discovering flying and marine dinosaurs from prehistoric times, but also cetacean fossils, a huge turtle and lots of other extraordinary animals. After all these experiences, children can amuse themselves in the Dino Giardino before going to the shop to buy a souvenir from this museum which is unlike any other.

Alpamare
The largest indoor aquatic park in Europe, Alpamare is the ideal place for families looking for exciting experiences. With its 10 slides that total a length of 1500 m, it offers limitless amusement for young and old. Alpabob, Alpacanyons, the formidable Thriller and the unbelievable Bala are some of the numerous aquatic adventures. The wave pool — unique in Switzerland — is also to be experienced. A must!
