Straastburg
Architecturally outstanding, the Strasbourg city centre was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1988. The city is also filled with history. Walking along its streets is a journey in time, discovering the Middle-Ages, the Renaissance, or the early days of the development of Europe. A strongly “European” city, Strasbourg now is the seat of the European Commission for Human Rights and the seat of the European Parliament. For millions of visitors each year, Strasbourg also means the “Christmas Market”. Children and parents are attracted by a festive atmosphere and the magical lights that enhance the many charms of this Alsatian city.
