Armory Palace (Oruzheynaya Palata)
Between the Kremlin and the Borovitski Gate, you’ll find this famous museum, the oldest and the largest in Moscow. The collections are extensive, and children will be particularly impressed by the weapons on display: real works of art decorated with precious stones and gold- or silver-plated. The costume collections as well as the jewels of the princes and the tsars, with the famous Orlov diamond, are all really worth seeing. The Armory Palace is the perfect place to experience the sheer scale of Russian history.

Battle of Borodino Panorama Museum
Get right to the heart of a battlefield! This totally unique and impressive experience centres on the 1812 Battle of Borodino when Napoleon took on the Russian army. You’ll be plunged into a 360° slide-show, depicting the battle: a truly breath-taking trip! You’ll also see a unique and enormous work of art – 115 metres long and 14 metres high – painted for the centenary of the battle by Franz Roubaud.

City of Stars
Stars everywhere! A fantastic family adventure awaits you when you visit the Cosmonauts’ Yuri Gagarin Training Centre, also known as the City of Stars! Located 35km from Moscow, this base has trained over 400 men and women for trips in space! On the visit young and old will discover the very halls where cosmonauts are trained using great centrifuges and various simulators, as well as replicas of the Mir Station and Soyuz spacecraft, and the story of Yuri Gagarin, the first man to go into space in 1961. A truly memorable experience!
